This study aimed to extract seeds oil of Cirtullus colocynthis and to identify the chemical constituents of the medically important species Citrullus colocynthis seeds oil and to evaluate its potential antimicrobial activity. The seeds were collected from El-Obeid locality, North Kordofan State December (2018). The extraction of seeds oil was carried out at Standards and Metrology Laboratories in (El-Obeid) then analyzed at National Research Center in (Khartoum). 17 components of Citrullus colocynthis seeds oil extract were detected by Gas Chromatography-Mass spectroscopy (GC-MS) method. The results showed that the major components are: 9, 12-octadecanoic acid methyl ester (54.52 %); hexadecanoic acid methyl ester (15.39%); methyl stearate (14.24%) and 9-octadecanoicacid methyl ester (12.53%). The antimicrobial activity of the extracted seeds oil was evaluated using diffusion assay against Gram positive bacteria: Staphylococcus aurous, Bacillus subtilis and Gram negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Fungus Candida albicans. The oil extract showed that highly activity against Fungus Candida albicansat concentration 100mg/ml and poor activity at concentration 75mg/ml but no distinct inhibition zone was revealed at both concentration 50mg/ml and 25mg/ml. For four types of bacteria at concentration 100mg/ml extracted seeds oil was partially active against four types of bacteria. More over at concentration 75mg/ml partially activity was exhibited against Bacillus subtitles Pseudomonas aeruginosa, but poor activity was shown against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. So far Bacillus subtitles showed partially activity at concentration 50mg/ml and 25mg/ml but poor activity was exhibited against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli. The antioxidant activity of the extracted oil was evaluated by using the standard 2, 2diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) 0.5 ml. The antioxidant activity of the extracted oil was 39 ± 0.8. This study Recommend to test Antimicrobial activity of this plant against other types of bacteria and fungus and Analysis of other parts of Citrullus colocynths.

Castor oil plant (Ricinus communis L.) is a fast-growing plant with valuable economic, pharmaceutical, and environmental values. It was reported to be used in traditional medicine by different nations and to have a lot of pharmacological and biological activity. The economic importance of R. communis is attributed to the production of castor oil from its seeds to be used in various industries including biodiesel production. Ricin which is a deadly toxic protein isolated from the castor seeds. However, there are some known toxic allergens as well as ricinine alkaloid. This widely distributed plant may have a valuble role in pharmaceuticals and renewable energy industries as well as very interesting uses in environmental fields.

Coronaviruses attain a distinctive morphology, the name being derived from the outer fringe, or “corona” of embedded envelope protein. Coronaviruses cause a broad spectrum of animal and human diseases. Uniquely, replication of the RNA genome proceeds from getting all the way correctly downward to end the assembly of a nested set of viral mRNA molecules. This changed dramatically in 2003 with the zoonotic SARS-CoV and thus the newer emergence of MERS-CoV has confirmed the coronaviruses as significant causes of severe disease. Efforts to recognize the animal reservoir of SARS coronavirus led to the invention of diverse bat coronaviruses in both group 1 and a small amount of of that are closely related phylogenetically to different mammalian coronaviruses.
Medicinal plants keep on giving significant therapeutic agents, both in traditional and modern medicine. Traditional medicines are earning significant and being concentrated to locate the premise of their helpful activities. Date palm “The princess of the plant kingdom”, symbolize one of the most significant plant families with regarding human use. Essential oil extracted from the seed of date palm possesses a variety of pharmaceutical activities. This study investigate the effect of hypolipidemic in these oils by studying the curative effect in male albino mice for two weeks. Mice fed on high fat diet exhibit significant an increase in lipid profile and significant depletion in high-density lipoprotein (HDL) level and antioxidant enzymes, the study revealed that the essential oil extracted from date seed was able to reduce the serum lipid and improvement in level of antioxidant enzymes and HDL. The result compared with gemfibrozil (lopid), a standard orally effective hypolipidemic drug.

Pregnancy is considered as a risk factor for increased illness at the time of most of the pandemics. Pregnant women have to follow the public health recommendations during a pandemic because of concerns about the effects of vaccines or medications on the fetus. Many guidelines are released for the pregnant women as they are prone for contracting novel Corona virus easily. Corona virus disease is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered corona virus. The disease is officially named as Corona virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) belongs from a large family of viruses which causes symptoms of cold, fever and pneumonia, etc. People of all the age are vulnerable to COVID-19 but people with low immunity such as the elderly, pregnant women and patients with chronic diseases are prone to the severe symptoms caused by Corona virus. Present article describes general considerations related to the pregnancy care during pandemic outbreak.
